Fred McMurray - Director/Secretary

Fred McMurray is a founding partner of the Sanwell Group. He enjoys his position of Managing Director of each of the companies in the Sanwell Group. Fred handles the commercial aspects of the business as well as industrial relations matters and offshore activities.

Fred's involvement with the Plumbing Industry commenced as early as 1965 when, as a 16 year old, he filled the part-time role of account clerk for the local plumber.

The plumbing connection continued with his first full-time employer - the Metropolitan Water Sewerage and Drainage Board of Western Australia.

After a short stint with the Public Service of WA, Fred has been involved in the management and administration of plumbing contracting since 1968

He completed his Diploma of Plumbing Design in 1988, is a member of the Institute of Plumbing Australia and is the immediate past President of the Master Plumbers and Gasfitters Association of Western Australia.

Fred's interests are extremely varied and include politics, golf, photography, flying (a light aircraft pilot), boating, motor sports, avid sports fan, travel and of course family. Fred is married to Jenny McMurray and has four children.
