Richard Combe - Senior Project Manager

Richard, together with his wife, arrived in Western Australia from England in 1969. He began working for local plumbing firms on some of Perth's major construction projects both as a plumber and a Supervisor. In 1976 Richard, with two partners, founded a mechanical services company: Industrial Pipe Installations. He remained with this company for six years, leaving to pursue other interests. He joined the Sanwell Group in 1984 when the company first started operations.

Richard has been responsible for a variety of projects in his time at Sanwell, both in WA and offshore. He has fulfilled a number of roles within the group including site management, tendering, administration, quality assurance and safety management. Richard's expertise in plumbing,drainage, deep sewerage and civil works has been utilised on projects like the QV1 in Perth, the Four Seasons Hotel in Singapore and the Garden City Shopping Centre redevelopment.

In his spare time, Richard enjoys reading, listening to music and visits to the cinema and theatre. He also loves a round of golf and is an enthusiastic traveller.
