Ernie Jordan - Plant Manager

Ernie completed a trade certificate in Vehicle Body Building & First Class Welding - receiving the award for "Top Apprentice" of the year, winning an all expense paid trip to the Eastern States to visiting various vehicle body building companies.  He also completed a course in Vehicle Design stages 1 and 2.

For a time Ernie worked for MTT until they were privatised and was redeployed to CALM.  It was then that he decided to work for himself offering a "Maintenance Services" until he took up a position with Westrac as a Maintenance Fitter.  Early in 2005 Ernie took up was the position of "Plant Manager" at Sanwell.

Ernie's duties extend to acquisition and maintenance of the Groups vehicles, plant and toolsand management of these resources to ensure our construction sites are appropriately equipped.

On a personal note he enjoys fishing which includes a trip to the Abrollos Islands every year & camping, especially bush camping. His hobbies include wood & metal working & an interest in vintage machinery and I am currently in the process of restoring 2 vintage motor bikes one being a 1949 Royal Enfield 350 bullet and the other a 1953 BSA 500cc single.  Afamily man with 2 daughters,they enjoy going to the football and are members of the Fremantle "Dockers" Football Club
