Mal’s working plumbing career spans 35 years. Starting his working life as an apprentice to J.R. Hollier & Co in Rossmoyne after finishing his time he moved onto Charter Plumbing for a period spanning 26 years. Working his way up the ranks his roles included Industrial Foreman, Housing Supervision for seven years, and then took on the position of Industrial Estimator which followed onto Industrial Manager. Some of the more memorable projects included Murdoch Hospital, City Hotel and many education projects and nursing homes.
In 2002 Mal moved to Cooper and Jones Group of Companies as General Manager & in 2006 he took up the position of manager in sales and marketing.
In August 2007 Mal moved to Sanwell Group as Senior Project Administrator & back into the arena he most likes.
Mal spends much of his spare time at his beloved Bali Island retirement residence which includes a large adopted Balinese family.
