Perth Stadium (also known by its current sponsorship name of Optus Stadium) is a multi-purpose stadium in Perth, Western Australia suburb of Burswood. The 60,000 seat Perth Stadium will be a world-class venue, capable of hosting AFL, rugby union and league, football (soccer), cricket and entertainment events.

The new Stadium is the third-largest stadium in Australia (after the Melbourne Cricket Ground and Stadium Australia)

Crown Limited has shown its long-term commitment to Perth with its decision to undertake the development of a new six star, luxury hotel to be known as Crown Towers Perth. The total investment in the Crown Towers project (inclusive of land) is expected to be $568 million.

The 500 room new luxury hotel will add to the suite of hotel accommodation at Crown Perth and will be a big boost to the local economy. The development of the new hotel will take Crown Limited’s investment in Crown Perth, to over $1.3 billion dollars since acquisition in 2004.

Upon completion, Crown Towers Perth will be the largest hotel in Perth and will take hotel room capacity at Crown Perth to nearly 1,200 rooms. Construction is expected to commence in early 2013 and the hotel, which will take approximately 3 years to complete, will comprise 500 rooms and include restaurants, bars, resort and convention facilities

The tertiary hospital represents the West Australian government’s largest ever building infrastructure project. It provides for 783 beds including a 140 State rehabilitation service funded by the Australian government.

The landmark design houses a comprehensive cancer centre, including radiotherapy treatment facilities, medical oncology and haematology, renal transplantation and dialysis, paediatric, obstetric and neonatal services, a full array of medical and surgical services, and extensive radiology services including MRI, CT and PET/CT. A medical research facility built for the Harry Perkin’s Institute of Medical Research will also be co-located on site.
